Amaracon Testing & Inspections is a certified women-owned business enterprise (WBE) which operates as an engineering based special inspections agency (SIA) and uses the latest technology to get the most up-to-date inspection and testing results to its clients.
We are engineers who sit down with you and understand your project. We work with the design team to discuss all the items of concern so we can avoid any disruptions during construction. Amaracon believes that pre-construction meetings are essential to get everyone, including the engineer, the inspector, the construction manager and the contractor on the same page to agree on what is required. A job well planned is a job well executed.

The founders of Amaracon Testing & Inspections have over 12 years of NYC construction experience. We know and understand the pitfalls of inspection agencies and with this in mind have streamlined Amaracon to use a tablet based app in a simple and effective way to make reporting straight forward, easy to access and less time consuming. All special inspectors have access to the information at their fingertips, drawings, RFI's, submittals, etc. Clients, engineers, and contractors can all access the reports the moment the SI walks off the site. GPS tracking will allow us to give you accurate timing of when our inspectors will be at your site.
Our goal is to raise the quality standard in New York Construction.

Project Engineer Position - SEND US YOUR RESUME
The Project Engineer will join our growing team with a role in performing special inspections and materials testing for Amaracon. The Project Engineer assists and supports The President, Vice President, Lab Manager, and Senior Project Engineer on assigned projects. The position performs daily special inspections and testing as needed and efficiently outlines results through reports. The Project Engineer must be a flexible and adaptable team-player, as well as have strong communication and client service skills. In the performance of this function, the Project Engineer is responsible for protecting and promoting the interests of both the business and client in all matters as well as demonstrating the personal characteristics of a developing leader.
Mandatory for Position:

N.Y.S. Professional Engineers License (must be current)

Bachelors Degree from an accredited university with a focus in Civil or Structural Engineering

Two plus years experience in the materials testing and special inspection field

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Must be self-motivated and be organized and efficient with turnaround of repor
