PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The New York Botanical Garden is a renowned natural attraction with a distinctive dome as the conservatory building. Amaracon performed all structural inspections on the Palm Dome Restoration, a prized feature of the gardens, which was renovated in 2017. The research facilities on site are home to over 7.2 million botanical specimens and a wide array of education programs. The Conservatory dome was originally completed in 1902 , and ATI is proud to uphold the highest standard of structural integrity with our inspections of such an impressive historical structure. The steel was replacement was done intricately, piece by piece, to maintain the tension in the dome.
