PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Regan Development built this new construction two-story elevator building with one studio apartment, 28 one-bedroom apartments, and 2 two-bedroom apartments in partnership with The Village of Freeport, Nassau County’s Industrial Development Agency, New York State Homes and Community Renewal and Regions Affordable Housing. The development has a live-in superintendent. The apartments serve a broad range of households of differing incomes with a range of incomes up to 80% of Area Median Income (“AMI”) for Nassau County. Eleven apartments help households earning up to 50% and 60% of AMI. Ten apartments are designated supportive units for special needs households earning up to 50% of AMI. Options for Community Living, Inc. provides on-site support and services for the supportive unit residents. Amaracon Testing & Inspections, LLC performed all of the special inspections and materials testing on this project for the general contractor, UW Marx Construction.
